Epicurean’s paper composite material is food safe.
All products meet the requirements of the EU1935/2004 Food Contact Regulation and EU 10/2011 Plastic Regulation.
Our paper composite material is heat resistant up to 350°F / 176°.
Epicurean cutting boards and pizza peels may be used as trivets but are not to be used as cookware and therefore cannot be used in the microwave, oven, or on the grill.

Epicurean’s iconic paper composite material is manufactured 100% in the USA, using materials locally sourced in the USA. While all Epicurean products are thoughtfully designed, manufactured, and packaged in Superior, Wisconsin at a 60,000-square-foot facility, a small number of silicone components and nylon utensil heads are sourced from China.

Many Epicurean products are NSF Certified and labeled accordingly.
NSF guarantees products to be easily cleaned and safe for food contact. NSF is the organization that tests products to verify they meet public health and safety standards.
