WHAT ARE EPICUREAN’S PRODUCT FACTS + FEATURES?Updated 2 years ago

The water-resistant paper composite material is ideal for processing food of all types and consistencies.

The material is heat resistant up to 350°F / 176°. Epicurean cutting boards and pizza peels may be used as trivets but are not to be used as cookware and therefore cannot be used in the microwave, oven, or on the grill. 

All products meet the requirements of the EU1935/2004 Food Contact Regulation and EU 10/2011 Plastic Regulation.

The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) communicates that according to the latest available knowledge, it is not to be assumed that plastic particles in food pose a health risk to humans.

Epicurean’s iconic paper composite material continues to be manufactured 100% in the USA, using materials locally sourced in the USA. While all Epicurean products are thoughtfully designed, manufactured, and packaged in Superior, Wisconsin at a 60,000-square-foot facility, a small number of silicone components and nylon utensil heads are sourced from China.

 




NSF Certified

 

Many Epicurean products are NSF Certified and labeled accordingly. 

 

NSF guarantees products to be easily cleaned

and safe for food contact. NSF is the organization that tests products to verify they meet public health and safety standards.
